OHV Grant Public Meeting:
Join us February 24th!
Westport Volunteer Fire Department is applying for a grant from California State Parks OHV Division for a UTV to transport rescuers to injured people and transport the injured to waiting ambulances and helicopters. On Wednesday February 24th WVFD will conduct a socially distanced public meeting at the firehouse to show the public what we are applying for and answer any questions about the equipment and the grant. It was a long walk carrying that extrication gear to the south end of Blues Beach for that rolled over car. Luckily we had no injured people to carry back.
